Just came back from seeing Thank You for Smoking. Not going to go into depth right now, but it's well done and real truly funny: honest belly laughs. A number of name actors show up, but it's mainly lesser-knowns carrying the action. And quite a few jabs at both sides of the political aisles. The kind of thing that makes you track down the book.

Recently I heard an interview with Christopher Buckley (son of William F.), who wrote the book. He's the cameo at the Cleveland Park Metro station (reading the newspaper article), and if you blink you're likely to miss him.

Why is this limited release? I don't understand that. Movies like this would get people into theaters.
